I'm a Newbie on SR
Hi Everyone! My first time here on Soberrecovery.com. God willing and the creek don't rise, I'll have 7 years on March 7th (AA). Go to meetings about 3 or 4 times a week and I love 'em! Love discussing topics that stretch one's understanding. I tend to question most things which, I think, is healthy. For example, before joining SR, I was reading various opinions as to whether it's appropriate to tell Al-Anon jokes on the 'sidelines' of an AA meeting. I enjoy immensely civil debates that occur among board meetings or out in the parking lot. Anyway, I'm looking forward to participating here in the near future!

Hi and welcome. I also have some time in the fellowship and this site is stimulating and I get sad also because of all the relapses which seem to be taken in stride. In the meetings I go there are not as many slips in months as here in a day. I try not to be an old time AA hard liner which worked for me like "take the cotton out of your ears and put it in your mouth, sit up front and listen as your best thinking got you here." I'm still in sensitivity training.
