me too, odaat. i have to accept this on a daily basis.

the nature of my beast is such, though, that unless i keep grounded with some kind of blueprint for living life, my ego tells me i'm different, that i can have one drink and it'll be somehow different this time.

my ego will try telling me that i'm not a real alcoholic. thnx4 the post, odaat.

Nonsensical

Acceptance put me on the road to freedom. Before I accepted it, I was on my way to being only an alcoholic. Now I am free to be everything else.

Isn't it amazing how others want to help you proveyour not too, and they don't think it took so many years to come out and say it.
