You might consider going to the doctor. They can help you know and don't be scared.
I did and got on blood pressure medication and it wasn't that big of a deal. It helps and helps the shakes too (at least for me, I do not know how much you drank a day).
The doctor didn't even judge me or think I was a "freak" like I thought she might.
If not and you don't want to, hang tough. You CAN do this. I am only on day one and I can say with the time being what it is, I made it through today.
You can make it too. Cheering for you munky!

Munky, can you at least enlist a friend to be around so you can be taken to medical help if needed?
Do be careful. Much safer to detox with medical support.
Welcome to SR and keep posting, okay?
(editing to say I missed Kat's post. we have the same idea)

Emergency Room, Medical Detox, Etc...
I think it would help you so much get over the first hurdle of detoxing safely and more comfortably.
If you really want the help that you asked for... It is there...But you gotta want it.
It's only a phone call away...
Your thread title says " I need help pls" ...You can get it!!!

Sowwy, but I'm not doing an inpatient program. Been there, done that, years ago, and right now I can't afford it. In the last year I've made it to 34 days once, and a coupla weeks a coupla times. It's the damn self detox that kills me.
If you need medical help Munky, like others have said the ER is always an option.
There are a lot of free or low cost clinics around too - if there's one in your local area you might get some medical advice there?

If rehab is out, for whatever reason, maybe a recovery group will suit you better?
There's many different approaches and methods of recovery around - here's some links to some of the main players:

I recommend you visit the Secular Connections forum if you think you may benefit from a non 12 step approach.
I know noone wants to go to a Dr or rehab or to AA or whatever....but what else are you going to do Munky?
If you're just going to use SR you probably need to use it more than you have so far.
Check in here regularly, help other people out, post here before you buy that booze
The main thing - whatever you decide to do - is do something.
In my experience, inaction just leads to more drinking....

Thanks Dee for the resource links!!!!
Is there a Salvation Army Rehab in your area Munky??? Low cost and can help you get past the painful self detox phase that's hurting you right now.
ER will help too....if you go
You gotta want it enough to not throw hurdles in your own path my friend.
Make the call...
Come here often...
Ask for help...
Know you are worth it...
...and do it safely!!!

A lot of outpatient programs won't take you until you are past intial detox ( believe me I tried ). Great advice from the others here in low cost/free detox options. Hope you seek and get the help you need
