2 days after relapse

It's been a week since my binge drinking/blackout episode. I didn't drink for 5 days and then went beserk at work and drank on Friday night. I didn't drink yesterday or today and I didn't even want to. My anxiety level was manageable and I slept very well last night. I'll take it. I even started a fire in the wood stove all by myself ....

How did you feel when you woke up after a sober night's sleep? For me this was the one thing that kept me sober. The thought of being sick the next day was what worked.

Isn't a wood stove wonderful when it's cold?

Thank you for posting. Be well.

it felt WONDERFUL! it's amazing how well one sleeps when the alcohol isn't disrupting the sleep cycle. And, yes, the wood stove is wonderful. It was -5 here this morning
