Transfer to Food

Does anyone else find that they're eating an insane amount of sugar? I know it's normal to crave sugar after quitting drinking, but at 73 days I hoped it would pass by now. It's almost like I transferred my drinking to sugar binging. Does this ever die down?

For me, the insatiable sugar cravings lasted a little over a month. In the second month it started to calm down a bit and now it's not nearly as intense as it was when I first quit. However, I never had a sweet tooth before but now, at least once a day, I have to have something sweet. One thing that helps is to eat fruits instead. That way you get the sugar but avoid many of the negatives of sugary sweets.

Congratulations on 73 days!

after 2.5 years I still love my sugar.

Awareness is a key, limit the sugar and replace it with other things...fruit, veggies, maybe a low cal hard candy to suck on instead of other stuff.

You are able to control your diet (what you eat) and your exercise....
