just to get started
I have never successfully chatted in a forum. I'll try harder with this one. I have been sober 24 years and fell away from meetings about 12 years ago. I just came back and the change in the structure of the meetings is freaking me out. The timers. The discusions/comments instead of shares. I remember certain people would end up sharing because every meeting was unique and most times one or two people talked longer then the rest. And most people did not share at all. Sharing was almost alway intense, genuine and passionate. there is so much missing in the sharing I can go on. And the reading. there is so much being read. I am just trying to get it and not get bored with the watered down sharing. I was known as ms AA in the past and listened to every word spoken in a meeting. But now it is like going to a business meeting where everyone is required to participate and not everyone is "feeling it". I think that is it for me. thanks for letting me share.
