1 month!!

I'm sober 1 whole month today! woo hoo! I have to admit that the thought of alcohol has passed my thoughts many times in the last few days but i'm just holding onto the bad experiences leading to this non drinking and that's keeping me strong. I'm finding it hard adapting to the idea that my drinking partying days are over and its hard to envision the rest of my life stone cold sober but small changes that I have implemented are slowly becoming routine and to be quite honest I'm so tired from working at the end of each day that I'm usually in bed by 10pm and that's the normal life people should have I guess, not staying up till 2am on a Tuesday night drinking copious amounts of cider. I'm a happy non drinker right now so small steps will be the key I think. So right now I say 'Cheers!!' with my Cup Of Hot Chocolate (with Marshmallows and Cream on top lol) and say here's to many more months of clean living! Peace and love to you all!

Congrats, RJY! I know how hard you've worked at this, especially considering your last few attempts. I still remember that wedding post you made a while back, not to mention what got you back on the wagon most recently. Hold on to those experiences. Use them as motivation to keep going so you never have to go back there again.
