Glad to be here!
Hello, first post, happy to be here and sober 30 days. Attending AA, getting help from a therapist, and praying allot. One day at a time. I need all the support I can get, as most of us do. Here to listen as well as share. Thanks!

Thanks all for the welcomes! One thing that is hard for me is during the day I have anxiety, (a lot!) but I assume that is very normal from what I have read, and can take some time to change. My mom tried to give me a bag of anti-anxiety pills, but I refused. Hanging in there, It is just hard to do the normal work things that I have to do.

Hello...i used to have bad anxiety when i was drinking. When i quit i had mild anxiety for the first couple of months and then it got significantly better with the more sober time i had. Now i don't have any anxiety at all. Hope you feel better soon.
30 days is a good start to begin building
a strong, solid foundation in recovery to
live upon for a many one days at a time
added together to get you further down
the road to enjoy life sober, happy and
honest.
I listened, absorbed and applied the tools
and knowledge of my addiction and a
recovery program to help me and guide
me along in my journey.
When dealing with anxiety or any other
physical or emotional pain, seek help from
your own physician to get what is needed
that is not narcotic or habit forming.
Remember too that we are all different
in the way we r made up, so what works
for one many not work for another.
Wishing you continue sober recovery
for many days to come.
