So sorry to hear about your sister. :( The important thing is you only drank for two days and now you are getting back on track. As hard as it is, you owe it to yourself and your family to keep a clear head as you go through this. Stay strong and sending good thoughts you way. ((hugs))

I too am really sorry for your loss :( If you're at all worried, please go to your Doctor, who I'm pretty sure will reassure you or at least give you some tailored advice.

Be kind to yourself Xx

Naptime if you have jaundice you should go to the Hospital
Alcoholic hepatitis almost killed me they gave me a 50/50 chance
I was in the Hospital for a week that's why I'm worried now for having drank
Im not suppose drink at all
Are you still drinking?

tony2toes 12-02-2013 01:01 AM

I was having a hard time getting any sleep back when I was drinking to,after I quit I could sleep ok again

Naptime 12-02-2013 01:03 AM

i had one 24 which is making me feel better, but i dont know how much is too much to taper. i have a friend here with me incase i need to go to the hospital, he is basically watching over me. I'm also have hallucinations, but now after this one 24 they are lessening

Naptime 12-02-2013 01:05 AM

also Prednisone is a serious steriod that the doc didnt even explain to me, i think its giving me all the anxiety which is lessening with having drank that 1 24.

tony2toes 12-02-2013 01:08 AM

I'm sorry I guess you already went to the Doctor I was on Prednizone to

no i did not, i just had a buddy come over incase i needed to go, i'm def going to have to get a pro detox.

None of us can give medical advice; you should (all of you) consult a doc. Even if you have to go the ER. For those outside of the US, we have a decent medical system for those with money. If you don't have money or insurance things are less idea. However the law prohibits a hospital from refusing to treat emergent care due to lack of financial resources or insurance.

What's done is done. You can't go back in time and un-drink, unfortunately. For now you just have to commit to staying sober.

I'm so sorry for your loss, tony2toes. My dad passed away 2 years ago and I miss him every day. It has to be very hard for you right now. Do you have any other family around for support? After Dad dies I really went on a bender, drinking heavily every day. Ultimately it's also what helped me stop...I knew he wouldn't want me to drink myself to death. I'm sure your sister wouldn't want that, either.

What are you doing right now to try to get/stay sober? Are you doing AA or anything else? I have found that SR has is a rock, and it's really helped me a lot to get sober and stay that way.

It's good to have you here, tony2toes!:ring

I'm pulling for you Naptime
My Bilirubin count was like 22 and it should be around .04 I think
I was a heavy drinker for about 10 years
Around an 18 pack of beer every day
