greetings to you all

:boat

Its been awhile i hope you are all doing great. I just got back from my long awaited trip to to grand canyon and lake powell we shared a house boat with 4 friends..that have a camper. NOW I KNOW THERE IS a GOD. it was to awsome words could not express it. I cried when i saw the grand canyon. . WE had such a great time even with 2 blown tires and hitting a blizzard. haa ha in june. Best of all i did not drink. I confess to 6 odules but that has stopped cause i could see a triggered pattern starting. I hit my big 7 month aniversary sober on the 10th. Missed you guys with no computer access for 2 weeks but I prayed and read.
Got to get to a meeting cause i do have some really stressful stuff comming up within the next 2 weeks. well ill be writing more regular but for now i thought id let you know i didnt drop off the face of the earth but i need to curl up in my own bed.

love ya
Lin

ohhh so your the one who turned the light out when you left the state *LOL*
My daughter lives in Vegas. My wife has been to the canyon. I have not been there yet. Sounds like I may not come home from there, from what you say of it. Maybe in the fall I could make the trip.

Welcome home Lin

Grand Canyon? Want to see real beauty, just come to Nebraska (ha ha).

Seriously, I am an alcoholic and learned in treatment to stay clear of nonalcoholic beer - something about triggering too many physiological cues.

It is great to get high on life and natural beauty!!

Hi all

I've never seen the Grand Canyon. That would be awesome, maybe someday........Hey Roy, did you ride one of those donkeys down the canyon?
What if one of them threw you off? That would be awful. Bad thought :scared1: Non-alcoholic beer does have a small percentage of alcohol in it. That's another reason why it is considered a no-no. I can't do the fake beer thing. I want the real thing or nothing at all. It's like decaff coffee. I drink coffee for the caffeine and caffieine only. Oh well, to each his own.

Take Care,

Talia

Lol

Nope Talia,
I made enough of an ass out of myself that I dont think they would have came near me. I would have given them a bad name.
