ermm 2 years and 3 months sober and plan not to drink ever again .
I don't have to flip flop anymore if i just gave up the whole deal , i've not got to work out my relationship with booze because there isn't one to work out , I got sick to death or the indecision after 10 or 15 years carrying the burden of not knowing if it was a problem or not ..
Might sound simple but it works for me

How much more of your life, money and hungover days/weeks/years are you willing to waste in order to find out if it's a problem or not ? and how many have you spent so far ?

When my Gran died and with getting older myself i realised we've all only got a limited amount of time left on this planet .. Every day spent with the burden of indecision seemed to me to be the time of my life wasted.

Weird how? Are you taking care of your normal physical needs properly, eating, drinking water, etc?

As you go you will have more and more calm moments. They are beautiful. They might not last as long as we would like, but they will occur more and more. I wish you the best in day 4!

You are getting better and better by each passing moment, by each passing hour. You really are. But I am sorry to hear about your headache. It's like pain we feel is heightened in a way when we are starting out in sobriety. It's not fun. But you WILL make it.

You're welcome. Just remember, you are not alone. Not by a long shot.

Hi Darren - try not to think about giving up drinking forever - just give up today and let tomorrow take care of itself.
