Bright Sunshiny Day
It is a beautiful sunny day here and I am sober and not hungover. I was searching for a community of like-minded people and found this site and I'm hoping there are people here who can help me along this lovely sober road.
I recently read "Drink: The Intimate Relationship Between Women and Alcohol" by Ann Dowsett Johnston and found it to be quite an eye-opener. For years I thought I was one of the rare women who drank too much, but she seems to think this is an epidemic among women, especially young women.
As this is day one for this program, I will wish everyone a happy sober day and hope to meet some of you soon. All the best, JanieM
