It is completely normal to feel insane if you are involved with a crack addict who is actively using. If you are looking for support please check out the "family and friends" forum.. Many of the people there are involved with alcoholics but for the most part all addictions, from alcohol to crack, are much the same.

My husband is an alcoholic and a crack addict so I have a very good idea of what you are going through. My husband has been using lately and it is currently driving me crazy.

Welcome to SR. Come here early and often for support. Being here has helped me get through a lot of painful and frustrating times. And helped keep my sanity.

Being in an intimate realtionship with an active addict can make our lives nearly as insane as theirs.

See if there is a Narc-anon group where you are, if not try to hit up an Al-anon group, you will find you are NOT crazy, NOT alone and some experience and wisdom of others in your situation or who have gotten OUT of your situation.

The friends and family forums here should be a great resource as well.

Glad you found us!
