I've hit it. I did something really bad last night. I'm going to find a meeting to go to, because I'm really struggling. No tough love comments please, I'm beating myself up as it is. Life is really horrible.
Hey animal nurse, sorry you had such a horrible night! Maybe this is a turning point. Time to stop digging and start climbing! You can do this. Get to the meeting. Remember how happy you were in that picture of you. It doesn't take much sober time to get back to that place!
Hang in there.... Great big hug

I had this happen many times - finally I gave up thinking I had any control at all. For years I insisted willpower could save me, but every time I picked up it led to disaster. I'm glad you're going to a meeting & that you came here to talk about what happened. Maybe you're more ready now than ever before.
I'm sorry for whatever happened, but use it AN - make this your bottom.
The road to recovery is hard - but it's not as hard as the road you've been on lately.
whatever options you have for help, do think on them seriously...I really hope you can make this a turning point for you

Yup, I agree with everyone else. Make this your bottom because as we all know, somehow, someway... it can get worse if we don't learn and move forward.
You can do it, animalnurse! You have all the support of us here and many more. I hope you make it to the meeting. You'll enjoy being surrounded by those who understand. Good luck!!
p.s.- I've been there too...many times. You can make it all better.

Again same as others. Don't beat yourself up over this. We are all allowed to put one knee on the ground, sometimes 2.
But it is not about how you fall that counts, it's how you get back up ;-)
