First Night
 

First night, and I feel really edgy. This is not easy, but I can't imagine continuing on as I have been. I will be lying in bed with my kids soon, and we will read and go to sleep. Usually I get up once they've fallen asleep and drink away. Tonight I will stay put. I won't get out of bed. I don't have any alcohol in the house to drink. I will just lie there in bed, sandwiched between my kids, with my thoughts for a better life and feeling grateful that we are warm in bed with full tummies. I just can't wait to fall asleep, to get past night one. I can't wait till tomorrow.

You are worth so much more than the false relaxation the alcohol tries to convince you it's providing you with. You have to start somewhere right ?
