I apologize for my comment. It was wrong for me to say that.

When I checked my email the next day, it made absolutely no sense at all. So I sent another email, explaining that I'd lost my glasses and was on medication. Never heard from him again.
I lost a job due to an email sent while drinking. A career position that I had been in for 6 years.

lsb, speak to us, what's up?

Drunk dialing/txting is the worst.

Don't miss that at all. The embarrassment was almost to much to handle at times.

Ibs, I know how it feels..but its not all that bad. Its not like you slept with him or anything.

relax. could be worse.

sometimes I get texts from numbers I don't recognize. I've never called a one, I just ignore him.

Old saying, least said, soonest mended, might apply here.

Block his number if you can and if you have a smart phone there are several apps available to keep us from automatically being able to make calls, send texts...at least they give us a moment to reconsider and a hoop or two to jump through.

Have a friend you can call for moral support next time you get tempted...or come here and we will be your moral support and voice of reason.
