Hi lsb.
Nothing to be ashamed of.
Care to elaborate? Have any kind of program/plan in place? Judging by your post I imagine you used/drank last night and are in a rough place this morning. We've all been there...too many times.

I also messed up when trying to sober up. Fortunately at meetings people said "keep coming" and finally things started to click like the fact that if I didn't pick up the first drink I wouldn't have to get sober AGAIN! Also needed was getting honest with myself about my drinking. Fortunately at that time in ancient history I had many good sober people helping me even with the things I didn't want to hear. It turned out to be mostly enjoyable work on the long haul and I have no regrets except for the loss through sober deaths of so many through the years.
Weepy.

I went out drunk by myself.
I put an open beer bottle in my purse because I was drunk and thought it would be a good idea.
I texted my ex-boyfriend from 4 years ago and told him I love him. And the problem is, I changed my phone number ages ago so he wouldn't know it...and now he guessed it was me....should I just say wrong number? Or not say anything at all???
