Hi 07734 and welcome! This site is a lot more than AA, actually, there are various recovery methods used here. If AA is your thing, there's a whole section for 12 step recovery. The newcomers section is awesome too.

Look around, post, make friends!

I'm only a part time AA member myself. This site fills the recovery void left since distancing myself from the rooms.

Sober Recovery has helped me remain sober for over 8 months.

Took me one month to find it, two months of reading other posts before I joined.

More than six months later I'm still sober and read SR almost everyday.

What brings you to SR?

Hey 07734, I been sober for 16 days and I find this board is great. I go to three AA meetings per week and I get just as good support here as I do at a meeting. Good luck.
