Day 1 Done! Taking on Day 2.

I just made it through Day 1. It was easier than I thought. I kept myself distracted with fun things. The few times I felt tempted, I hopped on SR, read some messages, and found renewed strength. Before I knew it I looked at the clock and it was 10:00pm and time for bed. I slept great and woke up feeling better than I have in a long, long time.

Today is Day 2 and the beginning of Weekend 1.

This is a terrific place for support and inspiration.

I like your attitude.

I still make sure I have an "evening distraction" to get me to bedtime. That time was where I was most susceptible. Keep in mind how good you felt when you woke up in the morning. If your mind starts thinking about drinking just remember how good it feels not to have a hangover. No guild, no headache, no sour stomach, no excuses, no bottles to hide, no shakes, etc., etc., etc., etc..

Congratulations to you and thank you for posting.
