Over 100 days in and...

Things are better than expected. Although I began by counting days (and did above), I've begun to realize that it's not about days for me anymore. Clean living is going to be something I perpetuate from now on.

Clearing away the fog of routine and habit surrounding my drinking, I'm beginning to discover who I am, which values I cherish and how to relate to people without using booze as a crutch. To the latter point, I find myself much better at socializing when I'm sober as opposed to intoxicated.

All of this is in part due to the (implicit and explicit) support you all have provided while I've been lurking the past few months. I haven't posted much and probably won't except in spurts, but I'll remain lurking and learning. Thanks all.
