went at the liquor store

im on day two and left hospital this morning when i was given medicine to help with w/d
havent been taking the medicine has prescribed cos i keep on forgetting and my brain is still foggy from the seizures i had
ive been warned about how i'd feel better with the meds and too be careful not to drink again
i made the mistake to go to the liquor store near my house and buy alcohol. havent drank yet
ive never felt so bad, physically and mentally even tho i talked to my dr about it

Pour out the liquor. Having it there is just unnecessary temptation. You either want to be sober or you don't. Take your prescribed meds as they are prescribed and keep on plugging along. You can do this, IF you really want it.

Throw it out!! Sobriety is the best gift you can give yourself!! You can totally do this if you "want" it. Only you can decide that though. I hope you dump it down the drain.

Nows the time to get serious Max.
Dump it out.

remember this motivation from your first post:

my children need me sober
no matter what methods you choose, you'll have to endure some pain, and make a choice - back to the same old same old - and maybe ending up worse next time - or trying something new.

Drinking it will not improve a single thing in your life. It won't make anything better. It won't take away any pain. It will just prolong your suffering.

The sooner you ditch it, the sooner you will continue your journey towards sobriety and happiness. I know it's tough at first, trust me. But every single person on this forum will tell you that it does get better. This is all just temporary. None of of the pain your feeling now is permanent.

Seizures are deadly. You're walking on such thin ice, here. Second chances are not guaranteed. Don't give up!

Is that your son in your avatar? He's a very cute little guy. It looks like he has a lot of personality.

If that adorable little boy is your son or anyone at all in your life, that's more than good enough reason to dump the alcohol out!
