30 Days!!
30 effing days! Holy s$&t! Never thought I could do it. Now it seems normal to feel normal. I've lost the daily urge at 3 pm to plan what liquor store I'm going to hit on the way home. Ive been able to take my daughter to church, dance, after school activities because I'm sober. I've been able to meet deadlines at work. Im able to look my wife in the eye when she's telling me about her day. Im able to sleep! This is amazing. Folks I drank straight out of a captain Morgan bottle for 6 plus years after beer wasn't doing the trick. I was functional but a mess. I'm no longer a slave to the bottle. If I can do it BELIEVE me YOU can. The changes are soooo worth it. Stick to your plan and know cheating isn't an option. Thanks to all of you, new and old to this board. Your comments daily showed me I wasn't alone and could see that beating this was an option.
Oh. And I've been asked multiple times if I've lost weight. My face isn't a big fat mess anymore. So I've got that going for me...Which is nice.

30 days felt insurmountable to me in the beginning....when I got there, I was like, what? How? What?
It felt surreal....how could this be me??! It's a good feeling, enjoy it....cos you've earned it!
