help me
drink won't help, zombiegirl.....you must know that because you're here.
reaching out for help & telling us how you're feeling means you're trying something new, and new things are hard. keep it up! Breathe, and give yourself a pat for trying something other than the bottle.

I've calmed them down n taken a few deep breaths. Off to make a cup of tea and hoover up as I clean when I'm stressed out n it helps. My house is spotless because of this lol.
I'm calming down a bit now. Cannot believe how bad it just felt. I've even got a spirits shelf in my house n stayed well clear of it

Glad you're giving yourself a time out.
Sometimes things seem so darn stressful at the time, but, then later when things calm down. The stress level comes down and those thoughts of drinking fade.
Take this as a lesson and learn from it.
So you'll know that even when things get crazy,if you bend instead of breaking you'll make it through the storm.

It's my husbands n it's not what I'd drink.
He would kill me if I chucked a few hundred pounds worth of stuff out as he collects it.
I've got a cup of tea in one hand n the hoover in the other

LOL - that is soooo me!
Well, not sure what to say re your hubby's alcohol - is there any way he could move it and lock it away somewhere? I guess that's up to you though..... I know for me I wouldn't want any around me at all.

i would have had no problem when i was having a craving taking a few nips outta that bottle.
I stole some from my neighbours garage once as i was out.
I think it is a very bad idea to have it there.
Ask your husband to put it somewhere else if it is costly and his.
you really dont need to know its there.

Tea by the gallon is what I've replaced alcohol with for the last 4 nights, managed to find a nice green tea that I keep topping up every so often as the evening wears on, sorta developed a habit of it, which I guess is a good substitute for a bottle or glass!!
