day 3
Good morning I am on day 3 now of a life free from alcohol. It took me a long time to sleep but I did it and I slept in the end.
Had tummy ache again last night but seem to think it's from having a bad cold.
It's nice waking up on a morning without a cloudy head n actually remembering the time I spent with my husband.
It seems to be easier then I thought it would be I think the worst will come after a bad night at work or a bad day with the kids but I will fight those demons when they appear.

The first week is chaotic and sometimes bewildering. Your body and brain are trying to regain their equilibrium and things can feel crazy. Hang in there, nothin' to it but to do it! Things will settle down eventually. Just stay the course. Remember why you decided to quit and how bad things were.
