Hey All
 

Today is the start of day 5 for me and this week has been very difficult. Hand tremors, foggy head, anxiety, you name it. I stumbled across this site last night and was reading through others posts. I found them to be very comforting and inspiring.

Hang in there I'm on day four and have my issues as well. Ive realized that I didn't do this to myself overnight and its not going to be fixed overnight. One day at a time. I'm trying to stay focused on getting back into things I did before alcohol dominated my life. I also have a wife who's about had it and am trying to pick up the pieces. With two youn kids and one on the way I have a lot to lose.

Hey NorCal, working on day 7 and just now starting to feel good enough to get out of the house and get back to doing the fun stuff I don't do when I'm drinking too much. The first 4 to 5 days were awful. I thought my wife was going to have to take me to the hospital but I managed to pull through. This site helped a lot since I was too sick to go anyplace, lots of support, good to know your not doing it all alone. Good luck and stick it out.
