7 Days sober. Never believed I could do it
Well, four of the days were in the hospital detoxing but I'll count them anyway.
They would not give us any caffeine there and I've been drinking decaf tea and coffee since coming home. Had a 21mg nicotine patch on the entire time I was in. During trigger times (like 5pm) I drink cranberry juice and sprite zero (a tip I read on SR.) The butts are my biggest craving and I won't be surprised or frankly all that disappointed if I cave and have a smoke. Went right from hospital detox to an intensive out patient detox program group. Its 3 days a week, 3.5 hrs per session. Shopping around for an AA group now Thanks again yo all of you for the encouragement ans for sharing your own experiences.

Congrats on completing your first 7, many more to come! I posted recently about the meaning of 7 and it's a pretty powerful number. Soak up all the knowledge, tools and resources you receive at you IOP.
