muchos mejor

well i'm much better (i.e. muchos mejor),
(and everyone should pay attention to me). jkjkjkjkjjkjkjk
talked to wife today quite a bit. we are doing our best at working out our own issues. things are looking hopeful.
i must say the DQ crew and the smiley threads are amazingly helpful. at first i was just keeping up. i've almost read all of both of them.
HIGHLY RECOMENDED TO NEWBIE'S LOOKING TO FILL TIME!!!!!
and now that i'm back and actually post, it's different. cyberspace is wild! it's amazing how small it makes the world. how can a ?relationship? with another human/humans be created on the computer?
would it be the same as in peeersssson? [with an Austin Powers twist]
hmmmmmmmmm..........

Hi Salt,

That's terrific news. It's great to hear you sounding much better and that you're both taking care of yourselves.

Cyberspace is amazing isn't it! The relationship between us addicts is created because we understand each other on a very deep level. And, often it's in a way that our family members and friends have not been able to understand. Hang around and be inspired!

Love, Anna

yah i'm excited!
i keep re-reading my original thread, although it has some stuff that is rather personal and "in the moment", i feel it got out alot out feelings.
now i want to focus on the positive. moving forward. get out of the stinkin rut. almost starting over.
my wife is five years younger than me, and i keep getting told that when you hit thirty it get touph, especially married. you start thinkin..........."i'm geting older". shoot, 25, i wish sometimes i could start over. i don't regret much, but htere iss that one pattern that i wish that i............we all know. some more than others.
again, i appreciate all of you, especially cuz we're NOT all from the same culture.
night night,
boy i miss my daughter

Salt

Sounds like your on the right track sorting through some issues that needed to be addressed. Keep up the hard work and know we're all rooting for you. Good luck to you and your wife. Hopefully within time, she'll develop a better understanding of alcoholics and why we continue the same insane behavior over and over. :banghead: It does take time to heal. It takes time, attitude, forgivness and the proper treatment. Keep up the momentum and let it flow.

Take Care,

Talia
