That's right, lizella, just for today. Maybe find something to occupy your mind and time? my first month of sobriety, my house was spotless. I have returned to normal, but that really helped in the first month.

One day at the time.

It gets easier and you will not regret it.

The cravings will pass the longer you are sober.

Take care of yourself, eat and keep well hydrated with non-alcoholic drinks. It could be that your body needs fluids.

Hang in there. You can do this if you really want to. It might be tough but you need to do anything you can BUT don't drink. It will get easier I promise you. Try to get plenty of sleep and drink as much water as you can. Good luck

Today is day one for me, once again. I need to tell myself, as well, that I will not drink today.

The cravings were by far the worst in the first several days. Do anything to pass the time, just think of it as survival (it is) until you can do more. Even if you're not into AA, or aren't sure of it, I found going to meetings helped because it passed the time. Then, later on, I realized it was helping in so many other ways, too.

Early recovery days can be a bumpy road for sure. Take it a day at a time. Just focus on today, this moment. You can do this! Have a little faith in yourself.

I'm good. I've been away and struggling on the sober path but I'm back now and determined to stay in track.
