Sister on her way home...from rehab
My sister's coming home from rehab today, my bf just left to bring her back home. I've never been so nervous to see her in my entire life. I'm not sure what I need to say when I'll see her or what to do. The last thing I want to do is being a trigger for her. As an addict/alcoholic I know what it's like to get sober even though I've never been in rehab. I know if she really wanna stay clean she will, it's her own choice but it's stressing me to see her after so many years. Any tips on what to say/do to help her?

your all right! i'll try to be cool with her and treat her like i always did
my bf said shes nervous about being here and answering my questions, she was here for less than 15 minutes and left saying she'd be back later. to me it doesn't sound good but she needs her space

light at the end of the tunnel
maybe invite her to go to a local AA meeting with you
it would be a good time spent for both of the sober sisters
as we all know here
it is a very special thing -- sharing how we got and stayed sober with other addicts
helps to show them that there is light at the end of the tunnel
when I got out of rehab -- I didn't know which end was up for a while
may God bless you two with your sober time spent together
