Guess it's come to this
Lurked around here before, but after checking my credit card balance, realizing how much I've spend on 'cheap' beer, trying to find any other justification for the spending to offer my husband, googling "spending all my money on alcohol," and having this site pop up (again)...guess it's time to admit I need to start on a new path.

There is life after cheap beer, a good life. Actuallly a much better life, coming from someone who also rarely DIDN"T have a cheap beer in my hand or somewhere nearby.
Read lots and ask lots of questions, there is a wealth of knowledge about all the diffrent ways folks learn to live the sober life here.

The amount of money I spent on alcohol going out & at home along with all of the other negative impacts it had on my life (career, relationships etc.) helped me come to the conclusion that drinking just wasn't working for me. You will find a lot of support & understanding here

Welcome. That admission is a huge step forward. I was also a "cheap beer" drinker. I justified my drinking by saying "I don't drink the hard stuff ... just this cheap beer".
