how long after stopping drinking can you get hallucinations?

i been stopped a month

but just come off sleeping tablets (so it may be that)

i didnt sleep at all first night with no tablet sweating bad etc

second night i had hallucinations

never had them before??

it was scary

in middle of night and nothing to replica what i saw to cause shadow or shape etc

just a big black man with no face standing in my bed room i closed my eyes opened them again and he was still there

seemed to last about 5 mins but was only probally 30 seconds or so

least

Did you speak to your doc before you stopped the tablets? If not then get an appt asap! And if you did, get an appt asap! Could be a number of things.
