Thanks Elsie.

My plans for the weekend are to do some more things around the house and get my taxes done. I'm feeling good about things. Enough so that I just want to DO things rather than spend all day on SR!

Yes, SR is a TRUE life saver, especially in early soberity and after awhile, the inner strength starts building from within and you feel a pull to spread out into other areas of your life . Your inner Self speaks to you now that the blanket of addiction has been taken off it ! Time to FLY ,DG!

Thanks Happy. Lately, I've been feeling like I just turned from a caterpillar into a butterfly. It feels like I spent forever in that cocoon phase, but now it feels so good! I do feel ready to fly and I have pretty wings too!

Wednesday

Well, I've been sick the last few days which is never any fun. I'd like so much to just be feeling better but this cold seems to be lingering on. At least I know that it will pass and I feel good that I am not drinking and smoking through it.

I am leaving on a work trip this weekend, so I have a lot to do to get ready for that.

I've been feeling really calm and relaxed the last couple of weeks and really have been enjoying fixing my house up how I want it. In some ways, I feel like I have nothing much to say that is recovery related. Other than being sick at the moment, I'm really doing quite well.
