Had friends over tonight. Used to have alcohol involved with every gathering. Tonight my friend was getting over a cold and decided not to have anything to drink, and her fiancé had a couple of beers with my hubby. They never said anything as to why I wasn't drinking, and I didn't feel like telling them yet. Wasn't sure how it would work out but it was fine.. They seemed to not notice or care that I wasn't drinking. Normal drinkers I had fun too without booze. Just ice water!

83mama0f2, day 49? You are FANTASTIC. Congratulations. Everytime you don't drink under circumstances that you normally would just strengthens your resolve not to drink. Good for you. Rootin for ya.

That's great news ,well done. I think we are more bothered about our non drinking than our friends are. We sometimes think others are going to make such a big deal about it but in reality they very seldom do. Keep up the good work.
