Thumbs up Lurking for a week

Sober week 1 had to get a handle felt like I was eighty and just waiting to die. Sat in front of tv tell I passed out my kids got used to me passing out

harder now then 1st half of sober but you guys really helped me, Read every day since day one could not have done it without SR so god bless you and I'm sure if my kids knew what you did for me they would hug you all I know
I can't just have one beer without 23 of his friends!

to SR and congratulations on one week, Believe me it will get much easier.
Why don't you join us at the 24 hours club? It s a very supportive thread where we commit not to drink and drug for the next 24 hours. Before you know it, those 24 hours do pile up

We have to get sober for ourselves, but the respect of my children is such a huge motivator for me. It sounds like it is for you, too. Just keep on keeping on!!
