Just Googled that disorder and def. no. I am a very shy/quiet person and hate having eyes on me.

I'm going to try and not buy alcohol today since it's Sunday and if I have a panic attack (which I get in withdrawal) I won't be at work.

Thanks for the clarification. That could be. I just hate how one thing sends me off the deep end into punishment of myself. I still bought booze today. I am a complete and total addict. I ran 6 miles and proceeded to buy vodka. Wow.

Hi Christie. I'm back here after a long hiatus. Was doing good for a long time, now im back to drinking too much and really want to quit again. Like you i am afraid of the withdrawl and get really bad panic attacks. It's 5am here now and I've been awake with anxiety and feeling sick to my stomach because of the alcohol, and guilt, and anxiety. Sigh.

I am here too. Trying not to think of drinking. Sorry about your sister saying something so cruel. Hang in there. I also have panic/anxiety attacks withdrawing. Horrible. And I have to drive my kids to see their grandmother today. If I don't I will never hear the end of it. And driving causes me anxiety too. Alcohol is not the answer. Alcohol is not the answer. My mantra.
