In! I remember in January when I encountered with wide wonder my first sober weekend in decades. They're still special particularly the mornings.
Cooking with pomogrante juice is brilliant, Ken. For some reason the fresh ones are reduced price at the local grocer but the best ones I've had this fall.

Just getting my ninth sober weekend started! I am so excited about my new sober life, I feel hopeful about the future and I feel grateful for the present. I have a couple more assignments to complete but I am already starting to let go of the stresses of the week.

I'm in. I'm sorry to report that I came down like a meteor last weekend. Drank a gigantic jug of tequila on Saturday/Sunday. I don't even like tequila. ???. It really scared me. All those months, then crash. Although life has been getting better for me, I was not paying attention to the isolated, melancholy state I was slipping in to. Should have reached out to all you good people before I picked up that massive drink. That's a major amendment to my plan along with getting more connected with the people around me. Not hiding. Not burring myself in work for 12 hours a day.
A peaceful, sober weekend to you all. I will be here with you this time.

Count me in too, please. Another weekend with no papers to grade (praise the Universe). Not a whole lot planned except for a get together Saturday.
Pixy--I finally faced my guest bedroom turned hoarders closet last weekend. It's not perfect, but I made a dent. Going to do a little more this weekend. My place definitely suffered from so much inattention while drinking and it's time to start getting some things in order.
Cascade--glad you're back! Today is a new day, and this is a new weekend. March on!

I made it through another Friday night! Tonight I am feeling like my sobriety is still so feeble and fresh. I need to be extra careful to protect myself this weekend. I have come too far to allow myself to give into the dark side now.
My life might be a bit boring right now, but at least it is safe.

I'm glad you're back safe again .
Hey everyone , It's saturday WOOOOO .. we made it through friday i hope ? if we did or if we didn't today is a whole new day on the spaceship earth , destination unknown , where we get another shot to pick things up and try something different .
I didn't do my CV, i had to work at work all of yesterday
and once i'd got home & had dinner last night i was asleep not long after .
Off for a coffee , washing pile is getting attacked & CV re-loaded and tweaking being thought about .

Safe and steady is a great way to approach early sobriety , It was a wild emotional ride for me for about 6 weeks - 3 months, then things started to calm down .
Fun is what you make it , i know for me alcohol wasn't fun , it was killing me and making my life way out of control ..
sometimes it takes a while for new things to stick , got to try and do stuff though , I couldn't expect to be entertained like i was with booze sitting in my own mess occupied by nothing ...

It was unusually warm yesterday and today so I will be out and about. Also going to do some roasting.
Olive really... Pomegranate juice. The richness it added and no one will know what you did but they will love it. I am doing some type of bef today I think. See what the butch has.
