Back from hotel
Happy Halloween! Actually got home Tuesday night after three nights alone in a hotel room! Had a good trip but in meetings mostly, so no time to check out the AA scene. Monday night went to dinner with all the people I was meeting with, lots of wine, but no craving. I was amazed by some of the conversation. One of the guys (high powered executive type) talked about allowing his 19 yr old son and his friends to drink at his house..."oh, nothing could happen, I made them give me their car keys and turned the alarm on, so they couldn't leave the house." Now REALLY, we alcoholics know what can happen...wouldn't his son know the alarm code?? Is this guy crazy, naive or stupid???
