in the uk on itv after corry st was ocd ward springfeilds hospital london

there was a guy (edward) i think)) his ocd was fear of urine

apart from the difference , me /my ocd fear is warts/verucas, i am exactally the same as he was

so i phoned the ocd ward this morning telling them i had watched their documentary and could they help me?

i live in york, this hospital is in london, they were very helpful, and asked me to go to my doctor and ask him to refer me to them, gave me name and address etc

see what happens

because my biggest drinking trigger is me not coping with my ocd

i can do a month or two off booze but cant do one day without ocd rituals/washing etc

any advice or tips

Sorry no advice or tips; OCD is beyond my limited knowledge. Hopefully your doctor will get you the referral for the help you need.

I saw the documentary, teardrop, and I thought it was fascinating but heartbreaking in places. It was really good, though, to see Edward start to recover and find some relief.

I'm really sorry to hear that you suffer in a similar way, but it was great to ring the hospital and I do hope that they can help you
