Saturday, and I'm Sober!
First post.
I usually get drunk a few times a week. This is the first nonworking Saturday in a very long time that I'm not drinking.
I have not had a drink since I attended my first aa meeting six days ago. I just wanted to thank everybody here that post. I think reading these posts helps me a lot.

Fantastic for you!
SR and AA are an integral part of my sobriety -- way of life.
Keep posting and reading. You are among friends.
AA'ers have supported me for many years and across the world.
Proud of you...keep living the good life
Halloween has always been my favorite (drunk) holiday and I dressed up and went to a sober party yesterday for the first time! I danced, socialized and had soooo much fun!
Welcome, Casey! Sobriety rocks, and so do you for having 6 days under your belt!!!
Welcome Casey54 - 6 days is a great start, every single hour of every day you stay sober you will begin to get your power back - or as I like to say, your 'mojo' ! Alcohol erodes the authentic self and diminishes ones natural abilities in life and sobriety brings a world of endless possibilities and creates a true, genuine joy like I've never felt from the bottle.
21 days today and loving my sober, mojo-FULL, great-FULL life!
Keep it up !
