As I Become Stronger, So does my recovery...

A month into sobriety I needed something to cure my boredom. I needed something to take the edge off. I started cycling and mountain biking. At first as with my recovery it was painful and exhausting making me almost wanting to quit. But as I grew stronger day after day so did my recovery. The last few weeks I have noticed that I make it through a few days not even thinking about my alcoholism or that dreaded first drink. Strength, peace, and hope is consuming me.

I never thought my life could be so good.

Keep getting stronger, there is hope my friends.

That's great, and I think your post expresses how making a change, like cycling, has a positive effect in your life and your recovery.

Exercise and fresh air is so good for us all. As you are finding out. And it does strengthen our recovery.
