Venting and trying to stay strong

Grrrrrr just grrrrrrr.....if anything else goes wrong today I'm not sure how strong I will be staying.
Such a hectic day at work, one of our workers is taking 2 months leave with no notice so trying to cover their shifts at last minute with bare minimum workers to begin with. Then a friend is going through a marriage breakup and vents a lot to me which is normally fine and I like to listen as I know it helps her. Then my hubby hit a kangaroo and "almost" totalled the car, thankfully he is okay and the car is still drivable. Along with screaming toddler and moody teenager I'm at my wits end and doing everything in my power to not have a drink.

I have unfortunately caved to having one joint but the craving for a drink is so strong today. So I will probably be around on SR a lot tonight so help it pass.

Remember , all those problems will be the same and you'll be hungover.
The drink will work for minutes, and could start a big fall.
Good luck.
John.

We've all had days like that. But we've got to remember that drinking won't help anything and will, in fact, make things worse. This too shall pass.

Stay strong DarkFaith. You can do this. Just think how good you will feel tomorrow waking up sober and dealing with this day! Be strong. We are all here for you.

Yay for you! Well done. It's fighting through the craving! I had a huge craving today too. Took a lot of strength not to drink tonight. So we both did it! Congrats on 6 days down. Tomorrow is 7 and you know what that means.....
