Whenever I've been anxious, craving, or just uncomfortable in my own head during my sobriety, I've been trying to exercise instead of reaching for a bottle.

About an hour ago, I was extremely anxious, so I rode my bike as fast as I could for 22 blocks, then came home and took both a valerian root and melatonin (all natural) supplement.

My mind is now at ease and I feel complete and content. I haven't felt this good in a long time!

If you're having a tough day, give that a shot. I'd love to hear how it works for you all.

I have read a fair bit about both but never tried them. Thanks for the personal experience account though...good to know.
