309 days !!!!
Wow, been so busy with university and work that I haven't been on here in awhile. But I'm still sober and now 309 days escaped from alcohols hold on me. For all the newcomers, I just want to say that it's all worth it and you should give it a chance. Prior to recovery, I was only concerned with when I was going to be able to go have my next drink with friends and getting into trouble with the law including several duis. Ever since December 10th, 2012, my life has improved in so many ways. I now have goals and am actually pursuing those goals. I went back to school and am working while still having fun sober at the same time. It takes getting used to, but its very possible. I no longer am sitting in a bar talking bout goals that would never be followed as long as that drink was in my hand. You won't regret it. God bless you all.
