After a long hard think..

Its been a brutal weekend and I've drank everyday last week and I hate to think how many pints I have consumed this weekend.

After a bit of reflection and self realisation ive got rid of all the alcohol in the house and I am going to start from this moment and tomorrow will be my official Day 1 again. No good can come of me drinking anymore and it needs to stop. Wish me luck as its gonna be a tough ride but I need this or I will surely end up dead. Im back guys and will be posting daily. Peace.

Of course we wish you well. I dunno that luck has a say. What are you going to do differently this time. You mentioned posting daily. Is that one method, are there more? No pressure, just asking to try to be of help. The thing that makes a difference between 0 drinks and that first drink differs widely in this group...

Hey RJ,
If I can do this, than you definitely can do this!
Step one: Be relentlessly honest with yourself!
Step two: DO NOT pick up the first drink.
Step three: Repeat step one and two.

All the best RJ. So what else besides deciding not to drink are you going to do?

We know you can do it this time RJ. You sound exhausted and ready to lay it down for good. I agree that posting here regularly will help with the anxiety - & the distraction will be important. It'll feel so good to be free of it.
