This guy is giving alcoholics a bad name. I am reluctant to call him recovering because if he is smoking pot every night and gambling then he is not sober. I have had lots of experience with control freak men though and often they weren't addicts. Sometimes people are just jerks and it has nothing to do with their previous addictions. I am always weary of referring to alcoholic characteristics because we are all different and it becomes a convenient excuse for bad behaviour. Don't move in with him. Been there too many times before and it never ends well. Those warning signs are there for a reason!
