Malgudy

Well... It's been 43 days of soberity for me. I have just got home after a late night event where I am in the organising events committee. I had an argument with one of the committee members on the bases of his favouritism towards certain members of the committee and some selected members of the public and how the whole future of the community is going to be a shamble because of people like him making such decisions. In my olden alco days I would have snapped or flapped and shouted or gone emotional...well this time around I got an apology after the case was proven by me. I stayed come and argued in a professional member with giving examples to make my case stronger. With a surprise I can say that I won the argument and its been mentioned that things will be done differently as of now. I rejoice this win and I count this as one of my first steps towards achieving respect from the others and the brain is showing a sign of recovery process. I would have not achieved anything if I would have never found this great forum.
