Where to begin,I went to hazelton for my 40th Bday,my ex got me hooked on crack to control me,from there I started snorted coke,then crank,got caught up in meth and my life spiraled outa control,I gave my mom my 2 girls and my sister my son,My husband also on coke and alcohol kept doing his thing,my dad is also an alcoholic...Fast FOWARD 9 yrs. I lost my son to my sisters partner,I don't do meth anymore,drink every now and again,my husband has been sober 2 years, my oldest Daughter has been sober from heroin 33 days,and a week ago found her best friend dead of an overdose.I have quit drinking afraid of not being their for my daughter,my youngest is 12 and has seen first hand addition.

Honey! Welcome. A friend here in the threads told me, "keep working that knot it will loosen." I don't know why I immediately thought that when I read your post but maybe it's cause you've been working out a big one for a long time.
It's an amazing place to come to for shared advice and empathy.
I'm glad your family is working on cleaning up and getting healthy.
I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter's friend.

It's funny cause my daughter says I'm a norms,but I let her know that I have to do the 3rd step prayer everyday,I just a big believer in The Lord above and everything happens for a reason

I have had no other choice but to turn to prayer and lean on my higher power in my sobriety. It might also be helpful to check out family and friends thread?

Thanks,so much going on,I have been feeling anxious,Sucks I always have to be the tough one, suffer in silence,cry when I'm alone!nice to have peeps out there!
