New - 16 Days Sober
Hello!
I am finally getting sober at 24 (almost 25). I was very much a 1 is a too much and 30 isn't enough kind of person. I turn to any addiction/distraction due to mental health issues including depression and severe anxiety. Alcohol was ruining my relationships with others and most of all myself. I'm ready to take responsibility and control over my life again.
My bottom was on the 24th of September, I attempted suicide for the third time and once again, came really really close to dying. I am now in a support group 3 times a week and receiving a **** ton of out patient.
Just excited and motivated! Happy to find an online forum!

Congratulations!! I'm so glad you are getting support from several different sources
