I can't believe how good and proud and strong I feel

Only day 3, and I can't believe how wonderful I feel. I feel like a new world of possibilities has opened up. I'm regaining my interest in writing and painting, I am wanting to read the books I have on my list, I feel good about myself. And it only took 3 days of being sober? My god, how wonderful will I feel in 30?!

Great Jade

I am on the 3 month, there have been some ups and downs, but overall I am stunned that I used so many years on that nonsense.

I am happy you are seeing already the fruits of sobriety. Not to burst your bubble, but early recovery is a roller coaster. Please prepare yourself for possibly feeling terrible and wondering what the heck happened to feeling wonderful. It's normal.

But by all means, look forward to many, many days of wonderful sobriety.

Thank you! And I am prepared, but all I have to do is remember how good I feel now, and realize that it will just keep getting better and better the longer I am sober. Exciting!
