At hospital to detox w\ Mom. dad is home contacting a friend of his about rehab or very least counseling. TY All so very much.

Great news AW. You will learn so much at Detox, please keep an open mind and let them help you. You will need what you learn when you get out, but this is possibly the new beginning you have have been searching for all this time. Let us know how everything goes.

I know you didn't want to leave the other city and come to where you are now, but I think that took a lot of variables out of the equation that were seriously distracting you from a good happy sobriety. Glad you are where you are with family. Wish you the best.

Good for you! I started out in hospital detox at my own request like you. That was three years ago and once free and safe, I never liked backed wishing for all the hassle and sickness ever again.

A medical detox at a hospital is a good thing, make it your last one.

(Unfortunately, I had to do it more than once).

Dad has 2 rehabs I need to see if they take my out of state insurance now.

TY all sorry updates are sporatic but no net & torrential downpours here is making trips to Starbucks hard. Tied up lose ends, well for the most part. Go in Monday.
